Parking Clients are welcome to park in the Steadfast House car park - to the West of the building. When that parking is full, there is usually plenty of availability in Adelaide Street - to the East of the building, or Phyliss Street - to the West. I reserve the right to charge a fee for non-attendance or late notice, which is two thirds of the cost of a standard appointment, payable before attending any further appointments. I never charge this fee if I have been able to fill the appointment. If an appointment comes up on the wait list, and you are on it, you will receive an SMS and I will hold the appointment for you an hour or two before contacting the next person on the wait list. First session with a new client is 60 minutes, $ 250 Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes, $ 220 ($ 200, with a valid, current concession card) Clinical psychologists attract a higher rebate from Medicare. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor, the current rebate is approx. $141 for up to 10 sessions each calendar year (the plan must be arranged prior to your appointment). Medicare requires that Mental health care plans are reviewed every 6 sessions, and you will need to return to your GP to get your plan reviewed in order to access the full number of sessions in a calendar year.
