About me
I am a registered clinical psychologist who works with adults of all cultures with a wide variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression and stress. You will find me warm, non-judgmental and dedicated to finding what works best for you. I always approach my work with energy, creativity and a sense of fun. Diversity is welcome in my practice.
When I work with you, it is a bit like I have access to a bunch of recipes for solving problems that researchers have discovered and tested to make sure they work. I help you figure out which recipe works so that you can live your own best life. You already have all the ingredients in your pantry, but sometimes you may need new skills or a little help to figure out how to apply those you already have to solving problems. I am committed to using therapy techniques and strategies that have been properly tested and found to work; like Cognitive Behavioural therapy, EMDR, Schema therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Ideal Parent Protocol hypno-therapy (for attachment difficulties), and Mindfulness.
Qualifications
Master of Clinical Psychology (MAPS)
Registered with AHPRA
Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) - first class
Diploma in information technology
